Now in its fifth year, Chislehurst’s Open Air Cinema returns on 22 July, with all profits going to Chislehurst Commons.
This is the first year that locals have been given the chance to vote for the film choice. Three films have been shortlisted by the organisers – Mamma Mia, Jungle Book and The Sound of Music – with votes being cast via the Visit Chislehurst website.
The film with the most votes will be announced on 24 May with tickets going on sale on Visit Chislehurst in early July.
The event, which takes place on the Common next to Chislehurst C of E Primary School, is organised by volunteers with the support of the Trustees of the Commons.
Doors will be open from 7.30pm. There will be live jazz music and the film starting at twilight (around 9.30pm). Dressing up in keeping with the film is actively encouraged!
Tickets are cheaper if bought in advance via Visit Chislehurst, but will also be available on the door. Ticket pricing and further details to be announced soon.
