Chislehurst is to host a giant outdoor tea party on Saturday 11th June in honour of the Queen’s 90th birthday.
Over 1,000 guests will come together to enjoy the vintage-style event on the Commons, between 2-6pm. The tea party, organised by local volunteers, follows the success of the Jubilee celebration in 2012, one of the largest street parties of its kind.
Tables and chairs will be provided for ticket holders to enjoy a traditional High Tea, followed by live entertainment, music and dancing. Tea and cake will also be on sale – or Pimms if you’re in the mood for something stronger.
Tickets must be purchased in advance as numbers are strictly limited. They will be available from April in jdm estate agency, Higgs the Butcher or online via Visit Chislehurst. The price is £10 per adult, £5 per child (aged 2-17). All profits will go to the Trustees of Chislehurst Common, the charity that maintains and preserves our precious green spaces.
The tea party is generously supported by The Chislehurst Society, jdm and Visit Chislehurst.
